In 2009, Carol Van Zandt founded VZ Environmental with a mission to provide portable vinyl drip and spill containment solutions to customers in the Barnett Shale. Similarly, in 2010, TitanLiner entered the market by creating advanced polyurea spill containment solutions for customers in northern U.S. shale plays. The company’s innovative approach to containment led to the development of eight patents, solidifying TitanLiner’s position as an industry leader. As TitanLiner’s reputation grew, so did its footprint, extending its operations to Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, with a steadfast commitment to designing robust, effective containment solutions.

In April 2024, VZ Environmental acquired TitanLiner, and together they formed VZT Solutions. This merger united two companies with a shared vision for delivering custom containment solutions. Today, VZT Solutions offers the best of both worlds—innovative containment technology paired with a wide variety of complementary rentals. As one company, VZT Solutions is committed to continuing the legacy of industry-leading service, always focused on helping customers achieve safe, cost effective, and more efficient operations.
